Mistborn Trilogy by Brandon Sanderson
I finished reading The Final Empire July(ish) 2017 and have not picked up the other books since. I think I started Well of Ascension but I got no further than chapter two before being distracted by some other book.
I really want to get back into this series with Vin and the wonderful magic system and complex politics of the world. I think it is fantastic and it something I MUST be missing out on right now!

The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan
Again, I started reading the first book, Eye of the World in the summer of 2017 but I only finished it last month. It was a slow read because I found the story so slow I had to read other books at the same time. This is probably why I am struggling to pick up the next book but it is on my summer TBR so Ill get back to it.
I thought the first book was wonderful (see my review here) so I really do need to continue with this series.
The Trials of Apollo by Rick Riordan
I am currently 80% through the second book in the series, The Dark Prophecy but the third just came out yesterday (I think) so I will have to continue reading this series! As always, Riordan makes me laugh and cry at the same time and I just love following his deeply flawed but courageous and heartwarming characters.

Foundation by Isaac Asimov
In the month of April, I read Foundation and Foundation and Empire in quick succession. This is the first series of hard sci-fi I have tried and I loved it. I hope to start reading the third book in the original trilogy very soon.

A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin
It has been a few years now since I finished book 3, Part 1, A Storm of Swords: Steel and Snow but I loved the series and really want to finish the rest of them. I guess I just didn’t feel in any rush as I knew George R.R. Martin would take a while with the next installment…! But with the TV show being so great, I want to read the books so I know what I am missing.

What series do you need to continue/finish? Are there any that you’ve started but are not going to continue with? Let me know in the comments!
The Mistborn series is one of my favorites, and a lot of Sanderson’s other books connect with it. The Wheel of Time series can be a slog, but overall it feels like reading a world instead of a series. It can also be duller than a 4-hour conversation with a shovel.
I’m always skipping from series to series and thus made it a goal the last two years to really work at finishing some of the series I’ve started. The list is about 20 series long lol.
I know the feeling!! Good luck with your list 🙂
Thanks! Same to you. 🙂
