We have included some Stephen King novels, but as he’s written a lot and gets recommended on these kinds of lists all the time, we made sure not to overwhelm you with King novels!

Misery by Stephen King
Other King novels beginners might enjoy include: The Shining, and Carrie. If you are happy with longer reads, It, and ‘Salem’s Lot are fantastic horror books.
