Frodo Baggins is a Hobbit from the Shire. His uncle, Bilbo, has a ring from one of his adventures with the dwarves from way before Frodo was even born. This ring is dangerous, and powerful people are after it.
This collection of Tolkien’s three ‘Lord of the Rings’ novels throws us into the tale of how a small and innocent Hobbit has to hide from the evil in the world in order to prevent the ring getting to the wrong hands. For if it does, the world would be no more and Orks and Goblins would roam Middle Earth.
While Frodo makes the long and treacherous path to destroy the ring, the humans and the elves j=have to fight to protect the innocent lives that are left to the brutality of the Dark Lord’s minions. Gandalf the Grey (a powerful wizard) helps them to form a defence but is it strong enough to hold against the might of the Dark Lord?

This epic fantasy tale is an incredibly brilliant, action-rammed adventure that is suitable for teenagers and adults alike as well as an inspiration to many writers of this genre who may aspire to something as legendary as these novels.
