The Fantasy Review’s Spoiler-Free Review of The Last Devil to Die by Richard Osman.
Richard Osman does it again, bringing us back into the Thursday Murder Club for another murder mystery. The Last Devil to Die is the fourth book in this series, and the quality remains as fantastic as ever.
Osman shows us just how funny he is, while also making us excited for an unravelling mystery and incredibly emotional at points. These books might just be some of the best crime fiction coming out right now!
I think the best thing about these books isn’t the murders or the convoluted mysteries, but the characters. There is a genuine warmth you feel following these main characters, to the point you feel like you truly know them, and love them.
The Last Devil to Die is a quick, fun, emotional read that will have you guessing, laughing, and crying. Do yourself a favour and read these books!
