Artemis Book Review – Spoiler Free

Reading The Martian ruined this science fiction book for me.

Artemis was pretty good and I enjoyed reading it. The main character was sarcastic, funny, and fully developed, but she just sounded so much like the protagonist of The Martian.

And Weir needs to make his protagonists sounds different if I am ever to enjoy his books fully individually. I hope the next one fixes the voice.

Apart from that, I am not a huge fan of the heist in literature, and Artemis certainly has a few of those tropes, but it was still fun to follow along. Not a bad read.
