The title of the new tv show based on Frank Herbert’s Dune series is Dune: The Sisterhood. It is being developed over on HBO Max and is set 10,000 years befroe the events of the movie, Dune (2021).
The showrunner is Alison Schapker, who is additionally executive producer and a writer on the upcoming series.

What is Dune: The Sisterhood About?
First announced in 2019, this HBO Max show will follow the origins of the Bene Gesserit, a mystical order of women in the Dune series. Set 10,000 years before the events of Denis Villeneuve’s recent adaptation (with Part 2 to come), we can expect to discover the intriguing past of this spiritual order.
Not much has been revealed with regards to the plot, but it is based on the novel Sisterhood of Dune written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson. Here is the logline for the show for a general summary:

Emily Watson as Valya Harkonnen
Indira Varma as Empress Natalya
Mark Strong as Emperor Javicco Corrino
Travis Fimmel as Desmond Hart
Actors Jade Anouka (as Sister Theodosia), Chris Mason (as Keiran Atreides), Sarah-Sofie Boussnina (as Princess Ynez), Shalom Brune-Franklin (as Mikaela, a Fremen), Faoileann Cunningham (as Sister Jen), Aoife Hinds (as Sister Emeline), and Chloe Lea (as Lila) have also been announced.
Additional actors who have been cast include Josh Heuston and Edward Davis, who will play Constantine and Harrow Harkonnen, respectively.
The role of Tula Harkonnen has yet to be recast after Shirley Henderson left the project in February 2023.
